Abyssal
The day that Kai learns that he's half-human, half-merman and that he's the key to ending a 100-year-old war, is also the day that the entire ocean learns of his existence. For years his family kept him hidden from the world, but now the strongest, most dangerous merman in all the seven seas knows about Kai, and he's coming to the surface for him.
To ensure victory, King Marius the Conqueror must capture the half-breed prince of Astria, his nation's greatest enemy, and claim him as his Mate in order to absorb his power before he learns to use it. There's only one problem: there's nothing Marius hates more than humans, not even an Astrian, and Kai is both those things. But when Marius sees the beautiful Kai and clashes swords with him, the cold-blooded king's blood begins to boil for the very first time.
When a dark, handsome, sword-wielding stranger attacks Kai in his home, instead of running, Kai fights even though he knows he's no match. Defeated, Kai is kidnapped to a world he never knew existed and is held prisoner against his will. Thrust into a secret, dangerous aquatic world, Kai must learn to navigate swimming with a tail instead of legs and avoid a powerful, possessive king's advances if he wants to save his newly-discovered mer-people from annihilation.
The Prison
My Little Succubus
We all know what she is.
Impossible to catch.
Every Mating Moon they all hunt for her. Her tiny leather robes leave little to the imagination and we'd all like to feel her to sate our primal need to breed. But damn her ability to spark when threatened.
But I've a plan this year. I've watched her every move and now I'm ready to put the plot I've carefully nurtured into effect.
Within hours I plan to be sinking into her warm body and sating my insatiable appetite.
Afterall, she's not the only one with magic in this pack.
That's why they call me Magus.
His by Law
I wasn't ever going to belong to Bodin.
I wasn't his for the taking!
Bodin Charters had been my friend since we were kids. Painfully shy and uncomfortable in crowds.
I was always the outgoing one. Willing to fight and shout for what I wanted.
But Bodin wanted something now.
Me.
I had told him he'd not have me countless times over the years. I was waiting for a man who wrote me sonnets and climbed walls to sneak into my chambers.
Bodin would never do any of that. He didn't have an unpredictable bone in his body...
Until he did.
My father was ill and had been for a long time. I didn't know Bodin, who'd inherited the Charter's fortune and property, had persuaded my father to make me his ward upon his deathbed.
Now my father is gone.
And Bodin is stating I can't be his ward because it'd be improper. I must become his wife.
I won't.
But as his ward, he has law over me. Law where he can make me do things I don't want to do.
And he keeps reminding me, he'll have more sway over me as my husband so I best start learning to obey him.
The devil I will.
Unfortunately, I'm finding Bodin is a far more clever devil then I expected...
The Pack Girl's Retribution
I had been nearly dead, covered in blood and unable to remember anything other then I was scared.
I remembered making it to the Asara Territory wall, half-starved. Jaecar, a Border Guard had found me and been kind enough to guide me into the Territory and to help me evade some of the more dangerous males of our pack...At least for awhile.
But the Hayden brothers had caught my scent. Three fierce males that took me hunting and made me leave me hut.
Three males that soon took me for their own under the Mating Moon. Forcefully breeding me before marking me as theirs.
But something had changed for me. I'd had my first memory.
Since then, more had come and I've begun forming an idea. An idea which will require the help of my three mates.
A plan to rain retribution on those that had forced me bloody into the woods and killed those I loved.
And I had three dangerous males at my disposal.
A Drink Before Battle (M/M) (✔)
General Sevei is of the firm opinion that Nobles are shady and Alchemists even shadier. Noble Alchemists are the absolute worst. He is not looking forward to partnering with one to guard the border.
Upon their introduction, though, it would seem they have already met... under very intimate circumstances.
Oh...,****...
~~~*~~~
This is set in the same world as my novel "Salvage", but they are completely independent stories. You don't have to read one to read the other. (This one is back in medieval times, about 400 years prior to Salvage.)
Just like in Salvage, here you can expect some humor and some angst (and some occasional smut) and a bunch of hot messes just doing their best. Despite the seemingly salacious premise, this is a love story at its heart, as well as a story of friendship and found family.
Vers. couple: Manly cinnamon roll MC x Manly neurotic wreck ML
CW:
Homophobic society, internalized homophobia and closeting, internalized transphobia (supporting character), war veteran ptsd, slavery (supporting character - no abuse of this character is depicted).
It takes three
The first book of It Takes Three series. Amira and Eira are twins who have always been there for each other. They inseparable almost never leaving each other sides, they complement each other. Thanks to the support of their older brother, they start at his bar and meet three different bodyguards for hire.
Note read it while you can if the story gets nominated by the wattys i will have to take down the book.
Spark
I am a Catalyst.
The Spark, the lore calls me.
The problem with being a Spark was two-fold.
Monsters were drawn to me. And I'd known so many of them that I found myself unable to be intrigued by any normal, human male.
I was drawn to those dangerous breeds now, like a moth to flame, how much could I really resist their primal aggression?
You'd think that with my time as a Spark, I'd have learned how to recognize each creature. But there were so many, I didn't know where to begin.
Every male creature lusted for me, especially the monsters. And I for them.
The trick I faced was in trying not to attract every unholy thing I came across. And when I did, in identifying which just wanted to possess me and which might actually kill me.
I was clearly failing. On both accounts.
