As you finish creating your story from the dashboard, you'll be able to set your book's Status to one of four options: 1. Not published (default), 2. Public, 3. Followers only, 4. Supporters only.
Followers only: If you set your story to 'Followers only', only those who follow you can read it. You can click on the 'Follow @author to read' button that appears below the listed chapters (pictured below) to follow the author, or you can follow the author from their profile.
Tip: Setting your story to Followers only is a great incentive for encouraging and gaining followers.
Supporters only: If you set your story to 'Supporters only', only those who have supported you with quills can read it. You can click on the 'Support the author to read' button that appears below the listed chapters (pictured below) to support the author, or you can support the author from their profile.
Tip: In addition to encouraging reader support by locking your story behind a paywall, you can create a Patreon-like system here on Ritoria! For example, you can publish a story and then set it to 'Supporters only' so that only readers who have supported you with quills can access it.
Attempting to read a story set to 'Followers only' or 'Supporters only' will return an Access Denied page.
