Darkwalker
The city of Londinium is made up of several thousand people scraping out an existence in a man made cavern. With Earth’s surface uninhabitable, the sub-city relies on highly sophisticated life support machinery for their continued existence. Keeping all that machinery in working order is a difficult task, considering it’s been in place for close to a century.
On one hand, Londinium has Tarriq to oversee the upkeep of the systems that make continued life possible. He’s a specialist when it comes to this. On the other hand, Tarriq is an ill-tempered misanthrope. If he could live a hermit’s life with his partner Meshani, he would in a heartbeat. But the sub-city desperately needs his unique skills.
Unfortunately, no matter how hard Tarriq tries, the machinery needs more and more upkeep with each passing year. Multiple unexpected equipment failures have Tarriq running himself ragged. He can keep jury rigging the systems for only so long, as they really need to be replaced, and that job is entirely too big for just one person.

But when they hit the milestone of turning eighteen, Sylvaris had this crazy idea of pursuing her dream to create mind-blowing robots like no one had ever seen before. So she packed her bags and left her family and poor Lyraesia behind to hold down the fort and run the kingdom. Fast forward six long years, and Sylvaris had finally completed her massive Project. She couldn't wait to return home and show off her incredible achievement to everyone. But guess what? The place she came back to was a total disaster zone, nothing like the shiny grassland she remembered. Instead of sunny beauty, there was blood all over the once-vibrant grass. And the sun? It had lost its bright and warm glory, replaced by a creepy-ass pitch-black sky that gave the area a seriously eerie vibe. Thankfully, Lyraesia was still the same, but everyone else? Celyn was now named Li Jie. He looked at his mother who loved him. His father was a wealthy businessman but still fought with him like a jealous child. But deep down loved him.
Unfortunately, the price to live in this world was to be a cannon fodder villain. And bully the main character and get a bad ending.
"Sure." In end, Li Jie decided to accept the task given by the system to live.
He decided to target the main character by stealing the main character's spot at the university. But, he mistakenly made history with his perfect score.
"Forget about the building donation Mr. Li Jie please tell me you are still choosing our university." A certain university principal.
Li Jie gritted his teeth at his failure. And choose the university that was near his house for convenience unfortunately he ended up being in the same class as the Male lead.
He copped himself in the house in name of studying the whole semester to avoid the male lead. But ended up taking first place in the semester.
He decided to make the male lead jealous of his showing off his family wealth by writing an essay on his family business only to get a business partnership offer from the main villain Leng Rui.
"You don't want to work with me. Okay." Li Jie thought he was done for after rejecting the main villain twice but nothing happened to him.
He tried going the basic villain way by building a nuclear reactor only to get recognized by the key research organizations in the country.
He entered the family company to bully his brother to get some bad press but to his dismay, he was an only child through and through. In turn he got overworked by his father.
