𝘏𝘢𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥, Or 𝑯𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅? ------------------ Innocently falling asleep, a girl called Alice Karber wakes up in a different world, and of a different time. A massive castle settled on a hill, nestled introvertedly away from the 18th century town, her heart can't stop dragging her towards the gothic home. The village speaks of such a man, a beast, a man of lust and his feast for blood - The man who has never been seen with a woman, the towns' whores ache for him. The man that has been hidden away - the man who has never been 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯. The ravens listen to the town. The forest watches. He has been waiting years for this girl to arrive.
His girl. And now he must find his prey. 'Get away from me! Who do you think you are?''
I hissed. All I could think of is, first of all, I'm talking to a VAMPIRE. Second of all, where's a pitchfork, fire, and some garlic?' 'Be careful, dove.'' His voice soothed, ' You may be able to speak such profanities in your world, but darling, you are in my world now.'
The Mook Maker
There are many possible fates that can await those whisked away from our world to another.
Some became heroes or villains, given the right power to forge their own destinies as they wished.
Others, the powerless, became victims, doomed to perish, at the mercy of the cruel world filled with mystical powers they are unprepared for. A lone man who woke up alone under the alien sky was neither of those.
He didn't get to choose what he was going to become - a disaster, an unwilling source of intelligent, yet violent monsters, rapidly rising in numbers. Stranded in a foreign land, without even knowing the language, forever locked in the unending cycle of violence he neither wishes for nor can escape from. His creations may be the only company he would ever find.
The man wasn’t powerless.
But was he really that much better off? It just took one wrong power.
