Hey guys! In order to keep this platform safe, supportive and welcoming for all users, be it readers or writers, we're laying down some ground rules, guidelines and etiquettes. These guidelines have been designed with the intention to make Ritoria the best community it can possibly be, promoting creativity, fun and user safety.

Any user found to be in violation of these rules and guidelines will be removed from Ritoria.

Forums Rules & Guidelines:

1. Keep it safe!

Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums.

Your registered screen name and avatars must not contain website or email address details, the name, or identifiable abbreviation of, an organisation, company, contact or location information, expletives, obscenities, religious statements, or other potentially contentious terminology.

2. Keep it civil and be kind.

Above all, users are expected to be kind, helpful, and respectful. Assume the best of people and try to make things better. However, if you're harrased or bullied, please help us keep this platform safe by reporting the user and we will take necessary action.

3. We hate spam just as much as you do!

Advertising of jobs, goods or services for commercial gain is not allowed. However, users may post promotional material regarding publications and posts that would be relevant to Ritoria only.

4. Post in the relevant forums.

Your posting must be appropriate to the forum and relevant to the discussion. Do not post the same topic into multiple forums. Choose the most appropriate forum for your question.

5. Posts must not infringe copyright law.

-The forums must not be used to post, exchange or download material protected by copyright law.

-You must fully reference any extracts from copyrighted material.

-If you breach copyright laws your post will be removed.

-You may be held liable for the content you post. Be aware of content on the World Wide Web that might be subject to copyright. For more information on copyright law, please visit the UK Intellectual Property Office website.

6. Forum users are allowed one forum account only.

- If you attempt to use multiple accounts, we may remove your access to our forums without notice.

- We regularly check the information we hold about our forum users. If we believe the information that you’ve provided is incorrect, your account may be removed.

7. Discussion of potential or actual legal proceedings is prohibited on the public discussion forums.

8. Warn your readers about potential NSFW/Mature content in any posts you create.

9. Do not post harmful or malicious content intentionally or otherwise!
