There’s nothing like coming home unannounced to find a stranger living in your bedroom. Technically, Liam’s the house sitter. Practically, he’s a walking violation of Chippy’s personal space.
She wants her stuff and a quiet exit. He wants to follow the house rules to the letter. Sharing a bed (alternating shifts, thank you very much) was never part of the plan, though neither was the weirdly perfect coffee routine nor the rapidly blurring boundaries.
